Landscape by Basil is a locally operated landscaping company built on more than 15 years of hands-on experience caring for and improving residential properties.

Basil’s nine years of experience in Essex county, gives him a deep understanding of different soil conditions, climates, plant needs, and property types. Over the years, he has led landscaping crews of seven or more, managed properties from routine maintenance to larger landscape projects, and developed the practical expertise to know what a property needs and not simply what can be sold to a homeowner.

For the past nine years, we have served homeowners throughout Essex County, building a loyal client base with very little turnover. Many of those relationships have lasted year after year for a simple reason: show up when you say you will, do the work properly, and care for the property like it matters.

From lawn and landscape maintenance to seasonal cleanups, mulching, sod, planting, and property improvements, every home receives attention based on its actual needs. Service can be tailored around the property and the homeowner, whether that means a regular maintenance cadence, seasonal care, or help bringing an outdoor space back to life.

At Landscape by Basil, we believe great landscaping is about how a property looks when the crew leaves. More importantly, It's about providing consistent, knowledgeable care you can rely on all year long.
